This time of the year

Christmas is that special time of the year which I dedicate entirely to my family. As I mentioned last year, time is the best gift. In particular, the time spent with the loved ones that live far from us. Another Christmas I spent with my husband and parents in the South of Europe. It was a time of relax, a break (also from the Internet), time for conversations, long strolls through Lisbon and trips to its surroundings. I wish you (and myself) that the New Year 2014 is full of such special moments. Not only on special occasions. Let us enjoy small things in life and give time to others, and ourselves.

Czerpmy radość z drobiazgów i ofiarujmy czas - sobie i innym.

Lemon tree

I had a friend who was always going on vacation to the same place. Not out of necessity- by choice. I have reminded myself of it when recently I have gone again to Cadaqués (last year I showed it to you in this post). I have realised that I go there practically every year for a trip and to show this place to someone that have not been there yet. So out of necessity, but not only. I am also very fond of this place. Is it even possible not to be?! Or maybe, as humans, we like the places  (as well as songs for example) that we already know?

Christmas relax

I hope that you had a very merry Christmas sorrounded by your loved ones. I had.
In this special time of the year I wish you all the best of happiness, love and optimism!
As I mentioned, I have been enjoying Christmas holidays in Andalucía and have been able to forget about warm coats, scarfs and hats for a while. Today I am showing you two looks with the same bag - my new acquisition. One of them is very casual and comfortable and the other one a bit more formal.
Which one do you like more?

Cadiz-The Silver Teacup

This year I will spend Christmas in the flamenco mood and that is why today I am showing you some pictures from Cadiz. This andulusian town is known as one of the oldest in Europe-its history has more than 3 thousand years. Its shape looks like a teacup, therefore it is called "the silver teacup".

Tegoroczne Święta Bożego Narodzenia będę spędzać w rytmie flamenco, dlatego dzisiaj pozdrawiam Was z ciepłego i słonecznego Kadyksu.

On the roof

Today I'm showing you the second, and last, post from Milan. The pictures were taken on the roof of the Duomo di Milano. This monumental gothic cathedral, the fourth largest in the world, is certainly impressive. Its construction took 6 centuries! Apart from the Duomo and da Vinci's 'Last Supper' Milan is of course well know as one of the fashion capitals.'What did you buy there?'-this was the question that all my friends asked me when I came back. It's a shame, but...nothing. Apart from window shopping in luxury boutiques, I went to some outlets and second-hand stores. They are really different from ones that I know (where you can find great pieces dirt cheap) because prices start from 100-150 Euro for a simple casual skirt. I decided to skip shopping in popular retail stores as there are the same shops and clothes here in Barcelona. Have a lovely weekend!

'Que te has comprado allí?'

NIC. Poza oglądaniem wystaw luksusowych butików, poszłam do paru second-handów i outletów. Zdecydowałam darować sobie zakupy w popularnych sieciówkach, bo przecież to samo mam tutaj, w Barcelonie.
Miłego weekendu i do zobaczenia!

Postcard from Milan

I'm back after a short break. Today - first post about my visit to Milan. Last time I went to Italy four years ago and to be honest: I missed it! It's a cliché to say that but I haven't had better coffee and eaten better pizza anywhere else. But, we are not supposed to speak here about food. How do they dress there in Milan? To spot local people in the crowd of tourists and foreigners was not  always that easy, but what I can describe as typical are: high qulity accessories and effortless elegance. Women usually wear Gucci, Louis Vuitton or Prada bags, good shoes and sun glasses, combined with simple, yet chic, clothes in basic colours. Nothing extravagant. And men? Italy is probably the only country were men dress better than women. On the top of it you can tell that they don't have to put any effort in being stylish-they were just born like that.

Suena a frase cliché pero no he tomado mejor café y no he comido mejor pizza en ningun otro lugar.

And my outfit? I am a big fan of floral dresses, but you might know it already. What I particulary love about this one is its back. When I travel or visit cities I always wear comfortable shoes, usually flats.
Many kisses and see you soon:)

Pozdrawiam ciepło i do zobaczenia:)

Plan B

A plan to go to the south of France for a short vacation was quite spontaneuos and last-minute. Only 1,5 h by car and we arrived to small and picturesque town-Cerbère. Summer without an outfit with white shorts? Impossible! I love lively and summery colours of this oversize t-shirt that I paired them with. The wedges I was wearing are not only the most comfortable ones that I have, but also match with almost all my summer clothes.
Have a great week! Kisses!

Udanego tygodnia! Pozdrawiam serdecznie!

London Calling

Last two weeks were very hectic for me. I didn't have time to update here or to visit your blogs frequently. I'm back with some of pictures from our weekend in London. I chose a simple and comfortable outfit with printed trousers.
Have a great week!

Desde hace tiempo no he puesto nada nuevo aquí. Tampoco he podido visitar vuestros blogs.

Wracam z kilkoma zdjęciami z naszego wyjazdu do Londynu. Wybrałam prosty i wygodny strój z wzorzystymi spodniami w jednym z moich ulubionych połączeń kolorystycznych.
Miłego tygodnia!
